02

What is collected

  • Your first and last name.
  • Your email address, so the reply can reach you.
  • The dates you have in mind and how many will sit down.
  • The kind of service you tick.
  • The message you write — the villa, allergies, what the table would rather avoid.

Nothing else. The site creates no account, asks for no telephone number and infers nothing about you.

If you write on WhatsApp, telephone or email instead, that message is governed by the terms of the service you used, not by this page.

03

What it is used for

One thing: answering you, writing a menu and a price, then organising the service if it goes ahead. Never for prospecting — there is no newsletter and there will be no unsolicited message.

The lawful basis is the pre-contractual steps taken at your request (article 6.1.b GDPR).

An allergy or a diet you choose to mention is health data. It is processed on the explicit consent you give by writing it down, for the single purpose of cooking safely for you (article 9.2.a).

04

How long it is kept

An enquiry that comes to nothing is deleted three years after the last exchange.

If the service goes ahead, the accounting records are kept for ten years, as the law requires.

Allergies and dietary notes are deleted once the service is over.

05

Who else sees it

I am the only person who reads your message. Your data is never sold, never rented and never passed on for advertising.

Technically, one supplier is involved: Cloudflare, Inc., which hosts the site. Established outside the European Union, the transfer rests on the contractual commitments it publishes.

06

Cookies

This site sets no cookie at all. No audience measurement, no advertising pixel, no embedded social button, and the typefaces are served from this site rather than from a third party.

That is why you were not asked to accept anything on arrival: there is nothing to accept.

07

Your rights

  • Ask what is held about you, and get a copy.
  • Have it corrected.
  • Have it deleted.
  • Have its use restricted, or object to it.
  • Have it handed to you in a portable form.
  • Withdraw, at any moment, the consent given for an allergy or a diet.

Write to brazieronfire@gmail.com. The reply follows within a month.

If it does not satisfy you, you may refer the matter to the CNIL — 3 place de Fontenoy, TSA 80715, 75334 Paris Cedex 07 — or complain online at cnil.fr.

08

Security

The site is served over HTTPS. Enquiries arrive in my own mailbox, which only I open.

Changes to this policy

This policy changes when the site does. The date under the title is the last substantive change.
